Bizzell’s Garage, a locally owned tyre store in Paddington, QLD, needed to modernise its online presence.

Their existing website was outdated and not effectively engaging customers. Brendan Bizzell (owner) sought a complete website redesign along with ongoing support to keep it running smoothly. In short, the garage needed a fast, mobile-friendly site that would showcase their services professionally and be easy to maintain long-term.

Pixelbird’s web development team crafted a fresh WordPress website tailored to Bizzell’s Garage. The project kicked had a turnaround of just over one month. The new design was mobile-responsive, visually appealing, and optimised for speed. Pixelbird integrated practical features like Google Maps for the store location and reCAPTCHA-protected contact forms for security. Behind the scenes, the site ran on a robust Apache/Debian server stack, with Google Tag Manager added for analytics and tracking. Content Management: WordPress – chosen for its flexibility and user-friendliness, enabling easy content updates and future scalability.

Design & Functionality: Custom responsive theme (mobile-friendly), with Adobe Typekit web fonts for a branded look, and embedded Google Maps to show the shop’s location on the site. A contact form with Google reCAPTCHA kept spam out while letting customers get in touch securely.

Analytics: Google Tag Manager was implemented for tracking visitor interactions and could be used to integrate Google Analytics and other marketing pixels.

Hosting & Infrastructure: Linux/Apache web server ensured a stable, secure hosting environment. Pixelbird managed the domain (through a TPP Wholesale registrar) and SSL certificate, so the site was delivered over HTTPS with no downtime at launch.

Maintenance Tools: Regular backups and updates were managed through Pixelbird’s maintenance suite (ensuring WordPress core, theme, and plugins stayed current). Any content edits (like changing operating hours or adding promotions) were handled via the WordPress admin by Pixelbird on behalf of the client.
