Green Beacon Brewing Company, a Brisbane-based craft brewery now under Asahi, partnered with Pixelbird to design a vibrant, functional website and provide ongoing support to keep it fresh. Over several years, our collaboration has grown into a trusted partnership that ensures their digital presence stays on-brand, up-to-date, and worry-free. The site showcases their award-winning beers and brewpub experience, while we handle the tech so their team can focus on brewing great beer.

Green Beacon needed a modern website to tell their story and engage beer lovers. We focused on creating a user-friendly, mobile-responsive site that conveys the brewery’s personality and high quality standards. Key goals included showcasing their core offerings, award-winning craft beers and the vibrant Teneriffe brewpub, and making it easy for customers to plan a visit or learn about the brand.

To achieve this, Pixelbird built a custom WordPress site aligned with Green Beacon’s design & branding. The site features rich visuals of the brewery and beverages, sections for their beer lineup (“Our Beers”), and details about the Brewpub venue (with location, taproom hours, and food menu). We ensured visitors can quickly find practical info and feel the welcoming vibe of Green Beacon.

Interactive elements and integrations were implemented to add functionality. For example, we integrated an online table booking link prominently on the site, so patrons can reserve a spot at the brewpub easily. We also included a newsletter signup form in the footer, which was later updated to embed Green Beacon’s new Mailchimp form when they switched CRMs. This allows the brewery to grow their mailing list for announcements and keeps the process seamless for users.

Behind the scenes, the website leverages popular and reliable tech. It runs on WordPress (ideal for its flexibility and ease of content management) with plugins like Gravity Forms (for contact or feedback forms) and reCAPTCHA for spam protection. We also set up analytics and Facebook/Instagram pixels to support Green Beacon’s marketing campaigns. The resulting website not only looks great and loads fast, but is also a powerful marketing tool – connecting to social media, capturing leads, and guiding customers to visit the brewery.
