I’m Dustin Gray, founder of PIXELBIRD™. We’ve been shipping production software since 2014, and over that time I’ve seen the same pattern again and again: organisations running critical systems on platforms nobody is maintaining, built by developers who have moved on.
Associations, scheme operators and regulators hold the personal information of thousands of people. They deserve engineers who understand what’s at stake.
So we focus on the work that protects organisations: security audits and breach response, rescuing legacy software, and building custom platforms properly, with security designed in from the first line of code.
We take hosting as seriously as code. Our Australian-based servers are managed by our own team, so the platforms we look after don’t depend on someone else’s shortcuts.
Our work isn’t limited to small projects. We scoped, built and support the digital infrastructure for a national federal government scheme, trusted by the government, its scheme operator and the practitioners who rely on it.
